Torsten Bjerre Rasmussen is CEO of Egmont Publishing, one of the leading magazine publishers in the Nordics combined with global positions within children’s magazines and comics together with a portfolio of 15 companies within E-commerce and Marketing Services.

Torsten joined the Egmont group in 2010 coming from JP/Politikens hus, the leading Danish newspaper publisher, where he was Executive Vice President and responsible for the media group’s commercial activities. In 2013, Torsten was responsible for a new growth strategy to defend and renew the positions in Multimedia Publishing while building a portfolio of growth companies within E-commerce and Marketing Services. Today, Egmont Publishing has combined the leading position in publishing with a leading position within high-interest niche areas in E-commerce in the Nordics while also investing heavily in Digital Marketing Services, adding synergies to the triangle of publishing, E-commerce and performance marketing businesses. The DNA in all Egmont Publishing’s businesses are content, communities, curation and commerce.
