Martin Weese serves as the Chief Digital Officer at BurdaVerlag Publishing GmbH, a key subsidiary of Hubert Burda Media, an international media and tech company. He oversees the digital activities in Germany, including leading websites in sectors such as luxury & lifestyle, food, garden & living, and health, alongside managing two ecommerce platforms.

Before this, Martin drove the digital transformation efforts at Burda International as COO, taking on interim management roles in Asia and Poland. His career began in banking and consulting before transitioning to the media industry with various positions at ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Martin holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich and represents Hubert Burda Media on the board of directors at FIPP.
