Mariam Mammen Mathew

Mariam Mammen Mathew is CEO of Manorama Online and leads Manorama Digital, the Malayala Manorama Group’s digital portfolio. Under her leadership, Manorama Online — launched in 1997 as one of India’s earliest digital news platforms — has grown into India’s leading regional language digital news platform, reaching over 36 million users across 160+ countries through an ecosystem spanning news, video, podcasts, e-editions, and premium offerings.

Beyond news, she has helped shape Manorama Digital’s broader portfolio, including M4Marry (matrimonial), HelloAddress (real estate), Quickerala (business directory and ticketing services), and Manorama Horizon (edtech) — extending the group’s digital footprint well beyond journalism. She has been part of the group’s digital journey since 2001, and Manorama Online’s journalism and digital innovation have been recognized by WAN-IFRA, INMA, and IAMAI. She currently also serves as Vice President of WAN-IFRA.

Before joining the media industry, Mariam worked at JP Morgan in New York.
