Liu Jing

Content Director, Chinese National Geography Magazine

Liu Jing graduated from the Department of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Natural Geography. From 2010 to 2011, she furthered studies at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University under the “Tsinghua-Citi EMBA Scholarship” program and completed the course.

Since 1999, Liu Jing has been employed at the Editorial Department of Chinese National Geography Magazine, currently serving as Content Director and holding the professional title of Associate Senior Editor. From 2013 to 2017, she concurrently served as Editor-in-Chief of the English edition China Scenic, a digital publication project funded by the Ministry of Culture’s “Publishing Going Global” Fund, which produced and distributed 24 digital issues globally.

To date, Liu Jing has authored and edited nearly 400 articles for Chinese National Geography Magazine. Her editorial work spans multiple fields, demonstrating the comprehensive and interdisciplinary nature of geography, with unique expertise in integrating knowledge, entertainment, fashion sense, and artistry.
