VP Product, Storytelling, The New York Times
Jordan Vita heads the Storytelling Mission at The New York Times, leading cross-functional teams who partner with editors to build tools and editorial formats and experiences meant to grow and engage our news audience. Prior to leading the mission, Jordan was the product lead for a number of major editorial initiatives, including live coverage, video and visual journalism, and storylines.
Jordan was a 2023 Sulzberger Executive Leadership Fellow at Columbia Journalism School, and has a M.S. in Journalism from Medill at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jordan started at the Times in 2016 as a member of our Data team.
