Over her 20-plus-year career, O’Mara has built a distinguished track record in print and digital publishing. Prior to joining The Nation in 2016, she was Managing Director of the publishing consulting company Shain+Oringer, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at TV Guide, and worked in various capacities in audience development and marketing at leading titles in the industry.
