Billy Carney is a co-founder of RocaNews, a digital news company delivering non-partisan coverage of world events. Founded in late 2020, Roca has become one of the largest and fastest-growing news companies focused on Gen-Z, reaching millions through its social media channels, newsletters, and mobile app. As the company’s president and head of product development and strategy, Billy shapes Roca’s digital initiatives and growth plans.

This past year, Billy and his co-founders were named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list and won AOP’s Small Digital Publisher of the Year award. Before founding Roca, Billy worked in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York City.
