Digital Director

Àlex is the Digital Director of the RBA group. From his position, he helps general management with all issues related to digital business: product, technology and organization.

Àlex is a Technical Engineer in Computer Science and a Graduate in Multimedia from the Open University of Catalonia. He began his professional career in the first digital department of the public television of Catalonia. Later, he was the Digital Director at a local magazine publisher and took the leap to be on the founding team of the newspaper Ara, the first integrated paper-digital newsroom in Spain. That experience led him to be the Head of Technological Development at El Periódico de Catalunya, a national newspaper based in Barcelona, before joining RBA.

RBA has managed to take its leadership in the print world to the digital field, growing more than 1,300% in users in just 5 years and becoming the 27th company that generates the highest volume of Internet traffic in Spain (Comscore, June 2026). RBA has been able to organize its teams towards digital and draw on specialized profiles to face the dynamism of digital media and ensure continuous growth.
