Ahu Serter
Founder, international leader, investor
Ahu Serter is an international leader, investor, and transformation strategist who has built her career reinventing established systems across industries. Her work is grounded in one conviction: meaningful transformation happens when long-term vision is matched with ownership, capital, and the courage to execute.
Among the many roles she holds, two best define her work.
Serter founded Fark Labs to act as the “Chief Opportunity Officer” for corporations—a global transformation engine that identifies where future value is emerging and converts it into action. Operating at the intersection of industry, deep technology, venture capital, and corporate innovation, Fark Labs helps established companies move beyond their existing businesses, discover new growth domains, and build the capabilities required to compete in them. By combining strategic foresight, venture investing, corporate venture building, startup collaboration, and ecosystem partnerships, it connects entrepreneurial speed and imagination with the expertise, assets, market access, and scale of corporations. Its ultimate purpose is to help companies become opportunity-seeking organisations capable of systematically discovering, validating, investing in, and scaling what comes next.
A pioneer of gender-lens investing in Türkiye, Serter also founded the Arya Women Investment Platform in 2013 to move the conversation beyond representation and toward financial power and ownership. Today, Arya brings together a $20 million private investment fund, an accredited angel investor network, and a global community of more than 550 members across four continents. Its thesis is commercial as much as societal: gender-balanced leadership drives stronger innovation, better decisions, and more durable value.
Serter also leads her family business, Fark Holding, a global automotive and industrial manufacturing group operating across Europe, MENA, and Asia.
She is now applying this transformation mindset to media through Heepimiz, a next-generation, women-led media and ownership platform. Heepimiz is founded on the belief that women should not remain merely the audiences and consumers of media; they must also become its owners, investors, decision-makers, and agenda-setters. Combining trusted international publishing brands with original content, community, commerce, technology, and investment, Heepimiz aims to build a durable media model for the female economy—one that converts influence into ownership and audience engagement into measurable economic power.
At FIPP, Serter brings a perspective connecting the Congress’s defining themes: trust, AI-driven transformation, audience ownership, monetisation, and long-term durability. She sees media not as a legacy industry to be protected, but as an essential system to be redesigned around credibility, participation, ownership, and shared economic value.
Serter serves on the boards of TÜSİAD, TAYSAD, and Enpara and is President of Türkiye’s Women Entrepreneurship Initiative. She has been recognised among Fortune Türkiye’s “50 Most Powerful Women” and received the Entrepreneur of the Year award in the United States in the over-$100-million revenue category.
